GERTIE is
“Good Food, Every Day.”
GERTIE is a modern “Jew-ish” deli and appetizing shop inspired by New York’s great bagel institutions.
Originally opened in 2019, GERTIE earned critical acclaim for its all-day format and vibrant design. Its new 2.0 iteration in Prospect Heights returns with counter service, freshly baked sourdough bagels, house-smoked fish and meats, and a pastry program rooted in deli nostalgia.
GERTIE is a place for long lunches, casual meetups, and familiar faces—a true neighborhood anchor.
